Sharing God
Author
Michele Hayes-Grisham
Sharing God and His love for us has become a passion for Michele. Read on to find descriptions of her books, a detailed bio, and more.
Story of Sharing God
Writing books was not something Michele had ever considered doing until she began volunteering at a homeless rescue mission and providing a weekly chapel service for the women and children there. When she heard the stories of why and how they had ended up there, she began to yearn to share the hope and wisdom she had learned from reading the Bible and hearing sermons about our loving God. A lot of people ended up there due to not ever having a stable home life or knowing about God's love and wisdom for them. Thus began the vision for telling and writing about God and His love for us from the womb to the tomb. No age is ever too young or too old to hear or read about God's love letter called the Bible.

God Loves You!
A Book to Read with Your Child
All people want to be loved, and we are! In our hectic world, we are sometimes in such a hurry that we forget that God loves us! It is so important for children to know there is a God and that He loves them! This book was written to let every child know they are loved and to remind the parents they are loved, too. There are beautiful illustrations to capture the hearts and minds of the readers. At the back of the book, there are endnotes to let the children and adults learn more about God and the love and wisdom He has for us in the Holy Bible. God loved us so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die to pay for our sins. God wants us to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. We hear so much bad news, but this is the Good News, God loves us!

How to Show God You Love Him!
Train children in the way they should go; when they grow old, they won't depart from it (Proverbs 22:6 Common English Bible). It's important to God that our children know Him, His love, and how He wants them to think, speak, and act. In our busy lives, it is hard to fit everything in; but God's love, wisdom, and rules are the most important. The information and ideas our children see on TV, video games, and even in school are not the ideal messages we want for them. This book was written to help you spend time with your child and teach them about the most important values in life. We might get those wrong sometimes, but God always has them right. In this book, there are chapters about the 10 Commandments, the Fruit of the Spirit, and Spiritual Gifts. Please help your children learn about the right information from the perfect Source.

Life Lessons from God recounts biblical as well as personal stories of how God uses everyday people like you and me to do His kingdom work. There are chapters concerning love, forgiveness, self-control, self-worth, health, pain, contentment and joy along with other topics. As we grow in our knowledge of God and His wisdom, we can become wiser as we grow older. It’s hard to keep life in balance with all there is to do. Michele shares some of the best lessons God has taught her through the ups and downs of life. Don't accept a life without joy and peace. Jesus can teach us how to be His hands and feet in a hurting world. Your mission field is probably not around the world; it is right in front of you. Go with God (Vaya con Dios)!

About the Illustrator
Sheila Preston-Ford has always loved children's books. The bright colors and lively details draw her into their little world. As a child, she would choose books by the quality of their illustrations first and the story second. Even now as an adult and soon to be grandma, she is much more likely to look at a children's book than read a novel.
Sheila recalls the first book without pictures that she read and loved, the Bible. This precious gift from her grandma was so regal with its leather binding and delicate pages, and so special with her name embossed on the front. A little overwhelmed, she wanted to know more about God but wasn't sure where to start. Her grandma suggested she start with the Psalms. She did and found each chapter was a loving promise of God's strength and love. The Bible truly is a treasure book with something new for you each time you read it.
How to Show God You Love Him! is the second book Sheila Preston-Ford has illustrated for Michele Hayes-Grisham. She considers it a blessing to have been given the opportunity to invite people to look closer at God and seek His word. Sheila lives in Northern California with her family. She is an artist and elementary art teacher at a Christian School.
